Dream Beach Nusa Lembongan

Dream Beach is a wonderful secluded beach with powdery, white sand, located on the south coast is one of the most beautiful in Bali. From the main accommodation areas on the west coast, head southeast towards Lembongan Village where you should turn west, and then look for the signposted small track leading south to Dream Beach. There is a cafe attached to the single resort here, and this makes Dream Beach a great place to spend the whole day doing nothing. Be very careful though about entering the water here as the rips can be fierce. Only the strongest swimmers should consider this and even then, avoid the eastern end of the beach. The cliff at the right side of the beach has some beautiful views, especially at sunset. 


Fast becoming one of Bali's most popular attractions this island paradise is a world away from the polution, hassles and hectic pace of Bali. There are no hawkers, no traffic, and magnificent scenery and is the perfect place to put your feet up and relax. Popular with families weary of travel warnings this island is a safe little spot to enjoy that perfect Bali Holiday.

The water is some of the clearest you can find and aqua blue in colors; good for diving and snorkeling. Surfing is crowded but nice waves. Nice coral sandy beach. Learn about the cosmetic seaweed farming industry.
Now with the development of the hills this area is fast becoming the main attraction and provides some of the best accommodation on the island. The views from the accommodation on the hills are second to none on Nusa Lembongan and probably Bali.

Don't miss it, visit seaweed farming at Nusa Lembongan Heading westwards from the Lembongan Village and then following the roads along the coast, you will find a range of green and blue seaweed farming.  The seaweed farming is separated by some ropes and little posts where the algae are tied up on it to grow. Since the mid-1980s, nearly all the community lives off seaweeds, which are exported to the rest of Asia for the cosmetic and food industry. Every household can make one to two million rupiah a month from the red and green algae just enough to survive on these islands, where everything has to be brought from the main land at high cost. Rent motorbike for the day to try and find our perfect beaches. Went around the entire island, saw about different beaches, Nusa Ceningan island is good view to see, Dream beach is nice for relax with a great bar / cafe, Mushroom beach is also nice and snorkeling is ok too.

Melaspas full of blessing

Melaspas is an Indonesia ritual cleansing and purification of buildings recently completed or newly reoccupied, including a rumah (home), kantor (office), toko (shop), kandang (stables) and others. Melaspas are carried out by Hindus in Bali, Indonesia. The word melaspas comes from Bali which consists of two words that MLAs and Pas . MLAs means dividing and Pas means to fit in. Melaspas also reflects that buildings are usually made up of two elements, namely wood and Batu (stone). For Balinese Hindus, this ceremony must be carried out and has become a tradition. Beautiful Coral Reef Euphyllia Baliensis

Euphyllia baliensis is a new large polyp stony coral with extremely thin branches, only found in 27 meters below sea level at Bali, First found in 2011.   We all had a good look at the new  Euphyllia baliensis  with the huge announcement from Conversation International in Spring of 2011 but now the new coral has a name, and a whole lot more details on what makes this coral special. Hailing only from a limited range in Bali,  Euphyllia baliensis  has extremely thin branches, which are well spaced out like a classic branching hammer coral, Euphyllia parancora . Wherea s Euphyllia cristata previoudly had the smallest corallites of all the Euphyllia species, its 20-40mm (0.75 to 1.5 inch) corallites completely dwarf the thinner-than-a-pencil branches of Euphyllia baliensis which clock in at a miniscule 3mm – that’s an eighth of an inch!
